Coalition for the Homeless Houston (CFTH)
Since January 2024, Kelly has guided CFTH’s overall mission and provides strategic leadership to manage the organization and navigate stakeholder relationships.Previously, Kelly served as CEO for Career and Recovery Resources where she helped break barriers for people experiencing substance abuse, underemployment, and housing instability.
With over 20 years of leadership, change management, and organizational and program design experience, Kelly’s career has centered on building programs and leading organizations that serve vulnerable populations experiencing difficult social and health concerns.
Originally from Oregon, Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Portland State University and a master’s degree in Managerial Sciences from Amberton University.

With over a decade of involvement in substance use recovery, advocacy, and peer support, she specializes in empowering individuals facing addiction, homelessness, and trauma.
Through powerful storytelling, Amanda highlights the resilience of the human spirit, challenging stigma and fostering connection.
Her mission is to amplify voices often unheard, turning pain into purpose and struggle into strength.
