    When possible, limit the amount of PHI to the patient's contact information. You may also try to send an Epic InBasket message directly to one of our HHH providers. Thank you.

  • Our business hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. All clinics are closed for lunch from 12:00 - 1:00 pm each day.

    If you need to speak to a healthcare provider after clinic hours, please call 713-286-6000. This service is available on weekdays 5:00 pm - 8:00 am and on weekends. If you are experiencing a crisis or medical emergency, please call 9-1-1. For mental health related crises, you can call or text 9-8-8.

Eligibility for Services

  • Anyone who is experiencing any form of housing instability, crisis, or challenge that affects their access to healthcare services may receive services. You can receive services from HHH even if you have your own housing.

  • Insurance is not required, and you will never be charged a co-pay for services. If you do have insurance, please let us know. This does not affect your eligibility, but we can charge your insurance company.

  • We do not require you to have verification of homelessness or identification. We can assist you with obtaining these items if you need.

  • In keeping with provisions of the Texas Health and Safety Code, anyone, including employees, volunteers or any individual affiliated with Healthcare for the Homeless - Houston, who reasonably believes that the physical or mental health of a consumer or patient of HHH is or will be adversely affected by abuse or neglect, or if they are being attended to by a clinical professional in an unethical, unprofessional or illegal manner, should promptly report this information to:

    A hospital, mental health facility or treatment facility may not suspend or terminate the employment of, discipline, or otherwise discriminate against an employee for reporting any violation of a law or rule adopted by the Texas Board of Health to the employee's supervisor, an administrator of the facility, a state regulatory agency or law enforcement agency. Any such facilities may also not retaliate against a person who is not an employee for reporting a violation. If you feel you have been retaliated against because of making a report, please call the Healthcare for the Homeless - Houston Operations Manager at 713-286-6113.

  • Call the Medicaid/Medicare Compliance Hotline to report suspected fraud. This number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you will remain anonymous. You may also file a complaint online by visiting https://tips.oig.hhs.gov/
